International Leather Maker (ILM) is a new digital focused business information brand dedicated to the international tanning industry. ILM is the first truly multi-media experience in the industry, content is accessed via a range of modern delivery channels including a website, digital App magazine, weekly e-newsletter and social media. But don’t worry if you still love to read about the industry on paper, ILM magazine is also available in print.
ILM is aimed at the international tanning industry created for the hard working, time limited modern tanners who want to receive news and information about the industry using multiple platforms and devices. ILM Magazine will have a frequency of six times per year. Available in print for those who want it, ILM magazine is however best experienced in digital App format, available to read on-the-go using tablet and smartphone devices (iPad, iPhone and android compatible).
The first of its kind in the industry, the ILM App will have the same premium content as the printed version of the magazine, but will be specially customised with a different look and a number of additional unique features including:

Co-founder of ILM Martin Ricker (BSc Hons, Chemistry) has worked for many years in both the leather and media industries. He previously worked at BLC Leather Technology Centre, UK in the laboratory. He has worked-in and visited many tanneries and leather related companies, organisations and has attended many industry related events and exhibitions throughout the world. For the past 17 years he has been working in the media industry specialising in the tanning sector where he has been editor of a trade publication for the past 5 years before co-founding ILM. He is well-known in the sector and is highly regarded as a leading industry commentator.
Maria Wallace, Commercial Director
Co-founder of ILM Maria Wallace (BA Hons English) has over 10 years’ experience in the media industry. Starting her career in PR & Marketing, she then went on to work in media sales, specialising in B2B. She has extensive experience in selling print and web based products as well as events. Her last role involved commercial responsibility for a group of publications, including one specialising in the tanning sector. Maria is known for her consultative sales approach and creative ability. She works closely with clients to create campaigns that achieve goals and objectives.
