Paris fair offers leather designers a free ‘Bespoke’ stand

‘Bespoke’ is the tailor-made design area for the leather and fur sector within the Cuir A Paris trade fair. It showcases design expertise, innovation and techniques available to enhance ready-to-wear, accessories and interior design collections in leather or fur. 

Gilders, leather goods makers, upholsterers, workshops and platforms for new leather design technologies offer their services to professionals from the fashion and interiors worlds for bespoke commissioned projects.

At the next edition of the show set for February 18-20, 2014 the show organisers will select 10 companies with the following expertise and applications:

  • Leather goods maker, shoe maker, glove maker, milliner
  • Leather upholstery, sheathing, art gilding
  • Leather painting, screen-printing, digital printing
  • Leather and fur finishing (weaving, pleating, embossing, embroidery)

Calling all designers

If you are a designer, an artisan, or a student at a fashion or design school and you are specialized in working with leather, you have specialist leather know-how. You would like to share an innovative procedure or a patented leather technique.

Cuir A Paris will unveil the names of the 10 companies selected in December 2.
The winners will win an exhibition space in the Bespoke area of Cuir A Paris in February 18-20, 2014 to showcase their designs.
