JBS establish sustainability operation

According to aclechina.com Brazilian packer and tanning group JBS has set up a new directorate to take specific responsibility for sustainability in its operations. It appointed an economist, Marcio Nappo, to head up the new division. Marcio Nappo had been working since 2009 as head of the environmental responsibility department of trading group Archer Daniels Midland; his previous experience was in the sugar and vegetable oil sectors.
