Brazilian tanners in Paris

There will be seven tanneries from Brazil attending Cuir A Paris this week. The show takes place in the French capital, September 16-18. The group has support from ‘Brazilian Leather’, a sectoral project promoted by the Centre for the Brazilian Tanning Industry (CICB) with support from the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil). 

The group organisers from Brazil are aiming to generate US$15 million in business at the show taking place at Parc des Expositions Paris Nord Villepinte.

The Brazilian Leather project will articles developed for Preview do Couro (Leather Preview) – leathers created for the next fashion season that stylists and designers are currently working on.

Among the new attractions presented by Brazilian Leather at this edition of Cuir A Paris is the participation of two institutional partners, which will be presenting their portfolios during the event: the Leather Technology Centre – SENAI and the Brazilian Association of the Leather Industry Chemists and Technicians (ABQTIC).

All exhibiting space at Cuir A Paris is sold out with 430 exhibitors connected to the high-end and luxury markets within the leather industry. Visitors are made up of designers, stylists and professionals connected to the production of footwear, furniture and leather goods for the premium segment at major brands.
