Brazilian leather companies will soon be attending the Showtime Market furniture market in the US. Two companies: JBS Couros and Kromática will attend the event that is dedicated to materials produced for the furniture industry.

Showtime Market takes place December 7-10 at High Point in North Carolina. JBS Couros and Kromática will participate with support from ‘Brazilian Leather’, a sectoral project promoted by the Centre for the Brazilian Tanning Industry (CICB) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil) for the promotion of leather exports.

Pedro Ribeiro, from Kromática, will participate at the Showtime Market with the hope of increasing the company’s market share in the North American furniture market. “We know that the exhibition works as a straight bridge to the market and we hope to have success, opening new business as the North American economy is growing”, says Ribeiro. The United States is the third largest export market for Brazilian leather.

Fernando Bellese of JBS Couros, says the North American furniture market is an important space for Brazilian leather exports. “Being at the Showtime Market allows us to have a closer contact with our clients and a better promotion of our products. It also gives us a great opportunity to evaluate current and future trends in the sector”, he says.
