Kanpur tanners in danger as NGT cracks down on pollution

Kanpur’s leather industry, which earns foreign exchange worth an estimated Rs 6,000 crore (US$960 million) for the country is being targeted by the National Green Tribunal (NGT) for polluting the River Ganga.
