Italian machinery association elects a new President

Assomac, the Italian Machinery Manufacturers Association for the Footwear, Leather Goods and Tanning sectors has elected a new President at its recent AGM in Italy. 

During the annual meeting held on June 26, the representatives of the Italian machinery sector have appointed its new President, Gabriella Bocca, who takes over the role of Giovanni Bagini. Born in Turin, she has been CEO of family company Lamebo since 1995. Within the association, she spent the last four years covering the role of Vice President after an experience at the head of the Communication, Fairs, Marketing and Membership Services Commission.

Bocca has had experience working within industry associations such as the Italian Confederation of Small Businesses, Industrial Union, Chamber of Commerce in Turin and others.

The key points of her Presidency are on communication, both inside and outside Italy, entrepreneurial training with a particular focus on the youth training in the sector and exhibition strategies.
