Leading Chinese OEM Designer to speak at Shanghai auto leather conference

A senior creative design expert from Geely, the country’s largest China owned OEM will be among the speakers at the upcoming “ILM Automotive Leather Supply Chain” conference in Shanghai on September 1. 

Founded in 1986, Geely (part of Zhejiang Geely Holding Group, which includes wholly owned subsidiaries Geely Automotive, Volvo Car Corporation and The London Taxi Company famous for the London Black taxis) is a Chinese multinational automotive company headquartered in Hangzhou, China. Its principal products are automobiles, taxis, motorcycles, engines, and transmissions.

The group is one of top 10 automakers in the world with a turnover of US$23.4 billion and were listed in the Fortune Global 500 as the only privately owned automotive company from China.

Keynote speaker, Justin Scully, Creative Design Expert has over 18 years’ experience working in the automotive industry. He has worked with brands such as Jaguar Land Rover, Rolls-Royce, BMW Mini and Volvo. Since 2013, he has worked within Geely Auto focusing on brand development, concept car design and production car design.

The half-day ILM Automotive Leather Supply Chain conference takes place at Jumeirah Himalayas 5-star luxury hotel, in the Pudong district of Shanghai, on September 1.
