Première Vision awards three tanners

The Première Vision show organisers have opened the PV Awards competition to leather for the first time this September, awarding three tanneries present at Première Vision Leather.

Traditionally attributed to the most inventive and innovative fashion textiles chosen among the fabrics at Première Vision Fabrics, the 7th edition of the PV Awards integrated leathers showcased at Première Vision Leather for the first time.

The 2015 prizes for the leather exhibitors have been attributed to the following tanneries:

- Alric (France): awarded the PV Grand Jury Prize for the most exceptional, symbolic and pertinent leather of the season.

- Russo di Cassandrino (Italy): awarded the PV Leather Handle Prize for the leather combining the most tactile and behavioural qualities, leather that touches emotions.

- Fedi Silvano (Italy): awarded the PV Leather Imagination Prize for the most daring, original and amazing leather in terms of decoration, technique, finishing, innovation or technology

The jury was comprised of fashion and artistic directors, designers, marketing directors, fashion journalists and critics.

Première Vision Leather is taking place September 15-17, 2015 at Paris Nord Villepinte, hall 3.
