Bridge of Weir Leather Company has a philosophy of delivering continuous innovation and outstanding service through sustainable manufacturing practices giving us a competitive advantage in a highly competitive global market. We are looking to appoint a Colour Operations Manager to our team, whose role it is to ensure that the colours we offer our customers are both insight driven and an exact match to their requirements.

Could you inspire a team of highly skilled individuals to deliver results in line with the expectations of a world class manufacturer?

Do you take an analytical approach to decision making and can back up your decisions with relevant data?

Could you act as an ambassador for colour within our business, embedding a right first time culture within the fabric of operational and technical decision making?

If successful in securing this role you will accept responsibility for all aspects of colour from concept to production (including the supply chain), and your duties will include:

  • Ensuring Health and Safety is utmost in all colour related decisions and beyond
  • Managing and developing a team of colour specialists
  • Communicating the vision for colour to relevant stakeholders (i.e. internally, customers, suppliers, other Group companies)
  • Influencing senior stakeholders to ensure that colour has appropriate consideration within operational decisions
  • Being aware of colour trends and ensuring these are communicated to relevant stakeholders
  • Full accountability of colour for our product; managing and communicating risk attached to decisions
  • Taking a holistic approach within the supply chain and examining which variables affect colour

The successful candidate will have a track record of developing a team of specialists. They will have a passion for delivering a world class service to both internal and external stakeholders and will be able to influence transformational change.
