Ferrari posts record results

The Italian premium sports cars manufacturer has posted record 2016 results, with shipments increasing 5% compared with the previous year and net revenues up 9%.

Ferrari’s worldwide shipments reached 8,014 units in 2016, representing a 5% increase compared with the previous year (7,664 in 2015); up by 350 units, mainly driven by a solid performance of both V8 and V12 models, as well as a strong performance of the 488 GTB, the 488 Spider and the F12tdf models.

Net revenues grew 9% in 2016 to €3.1 billion. Adjusted EBITDA was €880 million, and adjusted EBIT was €632 million. Adjusted net profit in 2016 was up 37% to €425 million.

Growth in shipments was registered to the U.S (+1.8%), Greater China (+1.5%), and EMEA (+7.7%); with deliveries in the UK up 4%, and double-digit growth recorded in Italy (+28%), Germany (+13%), and France (+12).

In 2016, Ferrari separated from Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) and became listed on the Milan Stock Exchange.
