The Confederation of National Associations of European Tanners (COTANCE) and the Leather is my Job! project partnership have announced the winners of the May 2017 photo competition.

The first two prizes awarded by a jury comprised of the project partners are as follows:

First prize: Branca Maria Fernandes Moita Fojo from tanners Marsipel (Portugal). Runner-up: Ginevra Ganu from Conceria Newport (Italy).

Another prize was determined according to the number of “likes” on the Leather is my Job! Facebook page by May 5. The Leather is my Job! Public Prize was given to Andrei Vesa from A&A Vesa (Romania).

The aim behind the contest was to develop a ‘transnational interaction between people sharing the same experiences at work’ within the European tanning industry. Over 2,500 votes were registered in total.
