Brewery visit and golf added to Freiberg Leather Days event

The 6th edition of the Freiberg Leather Days conference will take place outside of Germany for the first time in the Dutch town of Oisterwijk. The final date for delegate registration is June 1.

Organised by the German technical institute FILK and the VGCT (German Leather Technician and Chemists Association) in collaboration with the NVLST, the Dutch Association of Leather Chemists and Technicians, the 6th edition of the two-day conference will take place at the De Leerfabriek in Oisterwijk located close to the Dutch tanning area. The conference will take place June 21-22.

So far, 190 participants from 20 different states have registered and registration is open until June 1.  The full speaker and presentation programme can be found by clicking here for the FILK website where it is also possible to download the programme brochure.

For the social events, there will be a guided tour of the La Trappe brewery and abbey and two other guided tours directly in the Leerfabriek, where delegates can visit a pottery or a coffee roastery. In the evening of June 21, the VGCT and FILK are will be hosting a dinner at the Landgoed De Rosep hotel.

On the 2nd day afternoon (June 22), leather and footwear makers, ECCO is sponsoring a mid-summers eve golf tournament with BBQ in Dongen. For all activities delegates should register.
