Stahl EasyWhite Tan is a leather tanning system for the creation of chrome-free leather that uses 40% less water during tanning and the salt in the wastewater is reduced by at least 80%. The tanning float can be easily reused and is chrome-free, and the quality of leather tanned with Stahl EasyWhite Tan is outstanding. It is very soft and smooth, yet it remains dimensionally and thermally stable; the collagen fibres are less damaged during the tanning process, resulting in a tighter grain and wrinkle reduction upgrading the leather quality.
How does Stahl EasyWhite Tan work?
Stahl EasyWhite Tan is highly innovative in several respects. In contrast to other chrome-free tanning processes, it involves no sacrifices to the quality and usability of the leather. Moreover, it considerably simplifies and shortens the production process as two demanding steps, pickling and basification, in the tanning process become superfluous.
