Lear Corp CEO announces retirement

Global supplier of automotive seating and electrical systems, Lear Corporation, announced that Matt Simoncini has elected to retire as the Company’s President, CEO and Director.

Effective from February 28, 2018 Simoncini is to be replaced by Ray Scott, who has worked in the Company for the past 29 years and currently is Executive Vice President and President of Seating. Scott is to be appointed President and CEO, as well as a member of Lear's Board of Directors. To assist in the transition following Matt Simoncini's retirement, he has agreed to remain with Lear in an advisory role through to the end of 2018.
