Disputes over Argentina’s hide export levies revived

The appointment of Luis Miguel Etchevehere as the new Minister of Agriculture by Argentina’s President, Mauricio Macri, in November 2017 has revived a long-time dispute between the country’s slaughterhouses and tanneries over tax issues on leather exports.
