The Leather Naturally initiative is inviting anyone connected with the entire leather industry supply chain to exchange thoughts for the most effective way of promoting leather as a beautiful, versatile and sustainable material on the occasion of a breakfast seminar to be held during the upcoming edition of APLF Leather in Hong Kong next week.

Hosted by Leather Naturally, the breakfast seminar will take place on March 15, 9-10.30am in room N206-208 of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. All the leather industry, including designers, fashion goods manufacturers and brands, are invited to participate and share proposals for the next steps in promoting leather during an open discussion.

In 2017, the Leather Naturally initiative has been counteracting false accusations about leather and started activities to promote the image of the material. As part of the approach, two drop-in sessions will also be organised on March 14 and 15 at 3pm at the Leather Naturally Lounge, where founder and spokesperson Mike Redwood will be available to answer all questions relating to leather and the industry. Visitors are also welcome to add a leaf at the Leather Naturally Tree located at Hall 3E South Concourse explaining why they love leather. Interacting on social media, the best Instagram post using the hashtag #leathernaturally2018 will be rewarded with a prize.
