The premium Italian fashion house has posted profits up +64% in 2017, driven by a new brand strategy and growth in key market China.
Family-owned Ermenegildo Zegna recorded revenue of €1.183 billion, up +2.3% at current exchange rates (+4.5% at constant exchange rates) for the year ended December 31, 2017, with growth in markets such as China, Russia, Macau, Singapore and Japan. EBITDA was €142 million for the year, equivalent to 12% of sales, while net income increased +64% to €32.8 million. The Group’s net financial position is also said to the improved significantly, growing from €233 million to €316 million.
Zegna’s leather collections range from men’s and women’s shoes and garments to bags and accessories.
