Exploring the possibilities of the circular economy, including leather, the third edition of Première Vision’s Smart Square will be held under the theme ‘Tomorrow is here’.

Taking place in Paris, September 19-21, Premiere Visions’ Smart Square will be located in the heart of Hall 3. Covering an area of 1,000 sq m, it will host 33 new smart players, who will introduce a new generation of responsible innovations and alternative materials, all readily available in the marketplace.

The space is comprised of five core areas, which seek to deliver to visitors a complete picture of what responsible innovation and Smart Creation represent today; Smart Library, Smart Wardrobe, Smart Services, Smart Talks and Smart Materials.

The series of free-to-attend conferences presented by Smart Talks over the three-day show will include the ‘Sustainability and traceability in the leather supply chain’ seminar to be held at 3.30pm on Thursday 20. Moderated by Martin Ricker, ILM’s Content Director, this seminar will be divided into several brief presentations by renowned experts in the sector including John Graebin, Materials Director at Deckers Brands; Chiara Morelli from Kering; Thierry Poncet, Head of the Leather & Sustainable Development Department at CTC.

First launched by Première Vision in 2016, Smart Square seeks to portray a product, an approach, a system that include all the new key dimensions the contemporary consumer is looking for in terms of creativity/design, innovation and responsibility.
