The Leather & Hide Trades’ Benevolent Institution (LHTBI) recently organised a Cycling Trip in northern France as a fundraiser for the charity.

Fourteen cyclists participated in the three-day cycling challenge in France on September 12-16; from Chartres to Alençon on day one (121km), from Alençon to Ducey on day two (112km), and from Ducey to St. Malo on day three (64km), with a visit to Mont St. Michel along the way. The event was a follow-up to the “London to Paris” Cycle organised in 2015. Read more here.

The LHTBI is a British charity founded in 1860, which helps former employees of the leather tanning industry in England and Wales who are in financial need, either due to old age or illness.
