Eurofins | BLC to hold leather processing training in India

The UK based network of testing laboratories will be holding a Leather Processing Course in three locations across India in early 2019.

Eurofins | BLC will be holding a one-day Leather Processing Course in Kolkata, Kanpur and Chennai in late January 2019, aimed at tannery staff, leather processors, chemical companies as well as anyone interested in a greater understanding of raw to finished leather processing. Delivered by a Eurofins | BLC leather expert with many years of commercial tanning and leather manufacturing experience, the course will provide an overview of the whole leather making process. Topics will include Animal and Manufacturing Defects, Beaming – Meeting Specification and Waste reduction, Tanning – New Generation Tannage Technology, Avoiding RSL in the Raw to Tanned (chemical legislation and regulation), Post Tanning – Achieving Physical and Chemical Properties, Supplier Management Systems, and Improving Leather Quality.
