Leatherworld Paris prepares for second edition

After a first edition in September 2018, Leatherworld Paris establishes itself as a twice-yearly show, like the others under the Messe Frankfurt France umbrella.

Showcasing the trends for Spring/Summer 2020, the second edition of Leatherworld Paris will be dedicated to “flexible materials” for the leather goods, footwear, bags, small articles and, mostly faux, fur segments. “Leatherworld Paris is, above all, a trade show that is attuned to the demands for flexible materials needed in the manufacture of products, where the fabric may not be the sole element for or aesthetic reasons. It goes without saying that leather is included here. Collections of finished products round off this distinctive offer that is specific to us”, said Michael Scherpe, President, Messe Frankfurt France.

Like each of the six Messe Frankfurt France shows, which include Apparel Sourcing Paris and TexWorld Paris, Leatherworld Paris claims to have the advantage of dedicated fashion shows and to form part of the’ Small Quantities and Sustainable Sourcing circuits’, which are aimed at professionals wanting to place orders for small volumes or to find eco-friendly or ethical suppliers.

Leatherworld Paris takes place February 11-14 at Le Bourget Exhibition Centre.
