Lectra names new President for the Americas

The France headquartered technological solutions provider has appointed a new President for North and South America.

Lectra has appointed Edouard Macquin as its President of Lectra Americas. Macquin joined Lectra in 1987 and, in 2000, was appointed Director of Lectra Brazil. In 2011, he took the lead as Lectra’s Global Chief Sales Officer and in 2014 became a member of Lectra’s Executive Committee. Macquin is to continue to develop the Company’s fashion, furniture and automotive leadership across North and South America, “empowering forward-thinking brands to realise new business and product opportunities”.

Macquin holds a Master of Business Administration degree from São Paulo Business School and speaks five languages; French, English, Portuguese, Spanish and Italian. He will be based in the Lectra Americas headquarters in Atlanta.
