Due to the ongoing Covid-19 restrictions, the Executive Committee Members of UITIC, in agreement with host organisation China Leather Industry Association (CLIA), have decided to postpone the 21st UITIC International Footwear Congress to 2022. “China is almost back to normal, but hosting an international congress could be difficult in 2021 due to the Covid-19 impact on transportation”, said Yves Morin, President, UITIC. “It is true that it has been a long time since the 20th Congress in Portugal in 2018, however, the current situation demands a very responsible and cautious organisation and invites us to rethink all our processes.”
