The exhibitors come from different Brazilian states and other countries in South America, as well as Asia, Europe and Africa. This 43rd edition of Fimec welcomes 35 new companies, which are participating at the trade show for the first time, and 22 companies that are resuming their participation after some years of absence, such as French technology provider, Lectra.

For this edition, the organisers of Fimec have increased the exhibiting area for footwear machines by +12%. “Our return to Fimec was much anticipated because it is an excellent opportunity to meet existing customers, as well as to make contact with new shoe manufacturers in Brazil”, said Vitor Duarte, Lectra Account Manager. “In addition to the optimism derived from the new Government, the footwear companies are making great strides towards the 4.0 industry. As we have incredible solutions for this market, we are also optimistic”, he added.

The tenth edition of Fimec’s Concept-Factory will be held under the theme ‘Information technology at the service of the footwear industry’ and will feature approximately 70 companies, from raw material suppliers, production management and control systems to machines, and industrial waste disposal services. Other highlights at this edition include the Fimec Forum, which will feature Brazilian and foreign speakers renowned for their footwear industry expertise, and the Fimec Studio, dedicated to fashion information.

The 43rd Fimec takes place February 26-28 at the Fenac exhibition grounds in Novo Hamburgo – RS.
