Organised with support from the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil), the organisation will head to Colombia from June 25-27.

The trade mission will include a preparatory seminar on the local market, a showroom in Bogotá and a photocall with the Colombian press. The delegation will include 34 Brazilian brand, the most since the mission began in 2018.

Carla Giordani, International Business Promotion at Abicalçados, said: “There is a growing interest in the Colombian market, which in addition to having favourable logistics as it is geographically close for export, has cultural similarities with Brazil.

“It is our sixth largest global destination, which between January and April, imported more than 3.5 million pairs of footwear, 4.3% more than in the same period last year.”
