Now, the Scientific Committee, led by Dr Franca Nuti and comprising 23 experts in the European tanning industry, will evaluate all the submissions based on the four key topics of the event.
EuroCongress organisers confirmed an even split between the topics for the abstracts, with 19% falling under “New developments in chemicals for the leather tanning industry”, 23% focusing on “innovative technologies for leather manufacturing processes”, 27% centred around “new developments and approaches in chemicals and leather testing methods” and, finally, 31% for the “focus on environment aspects e.g. LCA, by-products, wastewater and emissions”.
Organisers also happily noted that a significant number of the submissions came from authors outside of Italy.
