AI takes centre stage at CICB Sustainability Forum

Artificial intelligence (AI), traceability and sustainability were among the key themes discussed at the CICB Sustainability Forum, a major event for the Brazilian leather sector that brings together industry leaders, technologists and sustainability experts to discuss the future of tanning. Held in the city of Novo Hamburgo and organised by the Centre for the Brazilian Tanning Industry (CICB), ILM Editor Megan Thomas attended to learn more about how new technologies are reshaping leather production, improving ESG performance and helping the sector respond to evolving regulatory and market demands.
