The meeting is expected to bring together farmers, tanners, bracelet manufacturers, watch brands, associations and technical experts to discuss key issues affecting the leather and watch sectors. Previous editions have attracted around 100 participants and 20 speakers, according to AQC.
This year’s theme, “The Future of Leather”, will focus on how digitalisation, increasing regulation and sustainability demands are reshaping the sector and creating new opportunities. AQC is inviting speaker submissions covering leather in a digitalised, regulated and sustainable world, with proposals due by June 15, 2026. Submissions should be sent to info@aqc-asso.ch.
Alongside the announcement, AQC highlighted several upcoming industry events, including a June 11 online workshop on updates to its bracelet manufacturer certification framework and a July 9 tannery working group session focused on regulations such as the Digital Product Passport (DPP), EUDR and packaging waste requirements. Registration information for AQC events and the November MSM is available via the association’s official website.
