Bartolomeo Rongone’s appointment will be effective September 1, 2018 and he will succeed Claus-Dietrich Lahrs, who is said to be stepping down for personal reasons. Rongone will be part of Kering’s Executive Committee and will report directly to Francois-Henri Pinault, Chairman and CEO, Kering.

Rongone joined Fendi in 2001. In 2012 he took the role of Chief Operating Officer at Yves Saint Laurent, where he was responsible for ready-to-wear, leather goods and footwear, as well as retail operations and customer relations.
