Brazilian Leather, an initiative of the Centre for the Brazilian Tanning Industry (CICB) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil), has its own space at the XXXV IULTCS Congress for sharing leather projects and exhibiting the Leather Preview (‘Preview do Couro’) display. Also, the Brazilian Leather Certification of Sustainability (CSCB) will be presented in detail by Álvaro Flores from the CICB on the second day of the Congress, June 26, at 3.30pm.

Following a welcome reception in the evening of June 25, the second day of the Congress will start with the Heidemann Lecture ‘As tough as leather: Macro to nano scale perspectives of collagen stability’ by Professor K. L. Goh from Newcastle University in Singapore.
