Brazilian monthly leather exports close to pre-pandemic levels

Hide, semi-processed and finished leather exports from Brazil in May totalled US$119.3 million, up 116.2% compared with the same month in 2020 when US$55.2 million worth was exported. This also reflects a figure 2.2% lower than April 2021, when the total was US$122 million. China remains the main destination for Brazilian leather.
