Calcutta tanners to take state to court

Tanneries operating at the Calcutta Leather Complex near Bantala have taken the state to court. The problem has arisen over a proposal to allocate an additional 40 acres to information technology companies in the facility that was primarily set up for leather units and allied businesses.
