Reddington to step down at USHSLA

John Reddington, President of the United States Hide, Skin and Leather Association (USHSLA) has announced that he is to retire at the end of year. Reddington is also President of the International Council of Hides, Skins and Leather Traders Association (ICHSLTA) where he will also step down.

PTA seek advice on raw material taxes

The Pakistan Tanners Association (PTA) has claimed that new taxes SRO 283(1) 2011 and SRO 505(1) 2013 have created confusion among tanners regarding application of zero rating facility on the entire registered supply chain and they have asked the Ministry of Finance for clarification.
