Concerns over lack of gas supply to Savar tanners

Only nine tanneries in the Savar Industrial Zone are reported to have gas connections, raising concerns on the effects this will have on the leather sector with regards to the hide and skin collection during the upcoming Eid Al-Adha, taking place August 31 – September 4.
