Some 40 technicians and Cromogenia technical staff from around the world were in Barcelona to discuss latest new products developed by the company and their performance.

The group also discussed new challenges that face the company and the global leather industry in the near future.

In July, the company announced opening of a new wet-end and finishing application laboratory at the company’s facilities in Novo Hamburgo, Brazil.

Cromogenia is expanding its production of free formol syntans by doubling capacity at its manufacturing facilities near Barcelona. The €1.2 million investment will allow Cromogenia to sell the syntans worldwide which are particularly suitable for wet-white articles including car upholstery.
