Danese at Simac Tanning Tech 2025

The agreement includes the transfer of information, equipment and technologies linked to Zwaans’ Transbelt systems such as staking machines, which have been developed for specialised material processing applications.

The addition of Zwaans forms part of a long-term growth strategy for Danese, which has steadily expanded its technical base through targeted integrations. These include Turnex GmbH in 2004, measuring instrument specialist Calati in 2019, and abrasive consumables company CARM The Buffing Paper in 2021. Zwaans now joins this portfolio.

Together, these capabilities underpin Danese’s “Tannery.Equipment” concept, which brings spare parts, instruments and consumables for the tanning industry under a single operational approach. The company said the focus is on delivering solutions that are quickly available, reliable, cost-effective and supported by practical technical expertise.

Zwaans has built a reputation for engineering reliability and industrial application, and Danese emphasised that the integration represents not just a transfer of assets, but the acquisition of applied knowledge and experience.

The company has also highlighted the continuity of the process, noting that the integration is intended to develop existing technologies rather than replace them. The approach reflects a wider industry trend of combining established expertise with ongoing innovation to meet production needs.
