The submissions’ deadline for this prestigious research award is November 27, for review by the Research Commission of the IULTCS (International Union of Leather Technologists and Chemists Societies).

The grant of €1,000 will be awarded in January 2016 to a scientist under the age of 30 for research in the leather field. The award is administered by the International Union Research Commission (IUR) and is aimed at a research project to be conducted at a recognised institution.

The IULTCS encourages leaders in the industry to promote the award to any institutions and individuals who are committed to research and the advancement of understanding of leather.
