Dorothea Flockert, Global Project Manager, Corporate Social Responsibility/Sustainability at Deichmann, and Charles Dickinson, Environmental Sustainability Controller at Primark, will both be participating in the panel.

Flockert has been part of the Corporate Social Responsibility division in Deichmann since August 2015. Her role focusses on supply chain transparency, social and environmental audits, and the management of harmful substances.

Dickinson has over 20 years’ experience embedding sustainability and environmental strategies within global apparel and footwear brands. He joined Primark in 2015, and is responsible for leading the fashion retailer’s sustainability initiatives across its UK and international supply chain.

The other speakers for the Supply Chain Panel are as follows:

–      Austin Davidsen, Senior Manager, Footwear Materials – Leather, Adidas Group. Davidsen specialises in leather sourcing, specifically in footwear materials for Adidas Group, as well as being an Executive Committee Member of the Leather Working Group (LWG).

–      Hans van Haarst, CEO, Smit & Zoon BV. Van Haarst has worked for the past 30 years in the process industry with ExxonMobil, Accenture and AkzoNobel. He lived and worked in the U.S., India, China and several European countries.

 –      Frank Michel, Executive Director, The ZDHC Foundation. Since August 2015, he has led the ZDHC Foundation as Executive Director, bringing with him more than twenty years’ leadership experience in establishing and growing multi-stakeholder initiatives.

 –      Hugues Pichon, Project Director, Louis Vuitton Malletier. World leader in luxury, LVMH has made sustainable development a strategic priority since its creation. Today, this commitment establishes a clear position regarding the issue of the ethical responsibility of businesses in general.
