According to Etevaldo Zilli, Executive Director of ABQTIC (the Brazilian Association of Leather Industry Technicians and Chemists, and organiser of the event), early bird delegate bookings should be rewarded for their advanced organisation, as the core of a wider plan to reiterate the success the event scored last time Brazil hosted it, in 1993. “People who are organised, who make sure they participate in the event, deserve to have their dedication rewarded”, commented Zilli. Discounts will be calculated according to the category of the participant, but the average saving will be around US$50. The event will take place between November 24 – 27 at the Feevale University, Novo Hamburgo, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, where around 1,000 people from 25 different countries are expected to attend not only the XXXIII IULTCS Congress but also the XIX FLAQTIC Congress (the Latin American Federation of Leather Industry Chemists and Technicians Associations) and the XXI ABQTIC National Meeting.
