Ernst Thalhammer, Senior Managing Expert for cut and sew technology for Dräxlmaier Group, will be presenting: “Leather on instrument panels…the technology is today’s trend”.
Thalhammer has twenty years’ industrial experience at Dräxlmaier Group. In his role, he advises OEM Design Studios on terms of design definition according to the possibilities of cut and sew, and creates the design specifications and guidelines for laminated plastics and natural fibres. This includes the development of leather material specifications according best performances relating to sewing and laminating.
Prior to joining the company, he worked for 13 years in the upholstery industry and was responsible for the development of cut and sew.

The half-day (afternoon) conference will take place at the 5-star Bayerischer Hof luxury hotel in the centre of Munich. The conference will be held on Monday, May 22, in the hotel’s elegant Königssaal room.
