For this edition, the Incube Forum which focuses on leather innovation will put the spotlight on the traceability of skins, the various stages of transformation, the environmental impacts during the manufacturing process and the attribution of bar codes.

Chemical exhibitors have joined forces to organise a “Material Preview” during the show. There will be mini-conferences on new environmentally-responsible products, leather quality and the latest innovations.

Working on the complementarity between the various sectors represented at Première Vision, a new Shoe Focus will be set up in Hall 4 bringing together the technical and decorative components, specifically designed for shoes, on offer at Première Vision Accessories with the leather and textiles on offer at Première Vision Leather. To optimise visits, an access tunnel will link the north of halls 3 and 4.

Strengthening synergies between the various sectors, the PV Awards competition will associate leather for the very first time. A prestigious jury made up of influential figures from the fashion scene will reward the most remarkable creations in this field. The leathers selected for the competition will be exhibited on the Trends Gallery before being awarded the «Grand Jury prize», “Imagination prize» and «Handle prize».

Fourteen tanneries will participate in the Parisian leather event for the first time, including Conceria Deluxe and Foglizzo from Italy, Harmanli from Turkey Skin from Morocco and TopCroc from Colombia.
