EU counts nearly 1.5 million vehicle production losses

As of April 9, factory shutdowns due to the COVID-19 crisis have resulted in lost production amounting to 1,465,415 motor vehicles. On April 22, the leaders of major European companies and industry federations called on EU heads of state to build a stronger Europe and said the Single Market is the central instrument for economic recovery.
