The new site will produce seats, as well as employ over 1,000 people and develop Faurecia’s plans for reducing vehicle emissions and hydrogen storage systems. By 2022, the site will begin complete seat assembly, harnessing the latest technological advances in automation and robotisation.

“Faurecia’s decision to strengthen its presence in North Franche-Comté is very good news for the region. The construction of this new industrial platform for seats and innovative emission reduction systems will increase employment and skill levels in our region”, said Marie-Guite Dufay, President of the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region.
