Technologies and services highlighted for ‘Smart Life on Board’ and ‘Sustainable Mobility’ during the show include a connected seat cover for driving professionals incorporating sensors for health and wellness data monitoring, and a fully integrated cockpit of the future demonstrating versatile architecture and smart systems for a safe and personalised user experience for different driving modes.

The closed loop comfort system of the connected seat cover is said to monitor occupant status and applies therapies to improve well-being.

Earlier in November, the French automotive parts manufacturer announced it signed a joint venture with pioneering Chinese electric vehicle OEM, BYD.
