Twenty artisans are to work alongside leather experts in the workshop for the transmission of Ferragamo’s craftsmanship know-how and the development of new products. The eco-friendly workshop is equipped with machinery that allows for more efficient production processes and energy-saving solutions such as LED lighting and photovoltaic systems.

In 2015, Ferragamo brought together other production sites to its centre in Osmanorro, hence, reducing CO2 emissions generated by the need to connect them. The site has received the ‘Leed Platinum’ sustainability certification, the highest for the building industry.
