FILK study finds alternative materials do not match leathers’ performance
FILK experts carried out various standardised physical and chemical tests on nine leather alternatives, including Pinatex, Muskin and Appleskin. None of the alternative materials are said to have achieved the properties of leather according to the applied reference values.
