In its sixth and final preparatory phase, the registrations are done electronically through the Agency’s secure IT system REACH-IT. Companies have a full toolkit available in 23 EU languages to help them register by May 31, 2018.

The submitting company will receive its registration number after its dossier passes a series of ECHA’s checks, and it has paid the registration fee. It can then continue to legally manufacture and/or sell the substance on the market.

Practical advice on the steps to take for a successful submission and information on what happens afterwards is available on ECHA’s website.

A webinar on the sixth phase of the REACH 2018 Roadmap will take place on Wednesday, November 30 at 11am (Helsinki time). It will show participants how to navigate in REACH-IT and submit a dossier to ECHA. It will also demonstrate the most important new features of REACH-IT such as identifying the ‘tasks’ assigned and how to act on them, using the joint submission page, and how to manage and change the company information. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions from ECHA’s experts.
