Although the sum is undisclosed, filings at Companies House report that Chargeurs has acquired a stake of at least 75% in Cambridge Satchel Company.

Additional filings show that Cambridge Satchel Company directors Giuseppe Zocco, Willem Herman Haitink and Faris Ayoub have stepped down from the company while Chargeurs executives Carine De Koenigswarter and Yann Delmas have been appointed as directors.

Cambridge Satchel Company is stocked in more than 150 countries and the company employs over 60 people, recently opening a new 1,054 sq ft flagship store in London.

Reportedly, Chargeurs has said that Cambridge Satchel Company has “strong potential for premiumization and international expansion” thanks to its Made in Britain offering coupled with “the visibility of its brand and the excellence of its digital expertise”.
