Luigi De Luca from GER Elettronica will outline how we can measure the colour of leather with a colorimeter: a psychophysical analysis tool that provides measurements that correlate with human eye-brain perceptions. De Luca will showcase IRIS, a new system for in-line colour quality control developed by GER Elettronica for the tanning industry; a colour quality control system mounted directly along tannery production lines.

GER Elettronica is an industry leader in the production of area measuring machines for leather and economisers for spray finishing machines. The company is headquartered in the Italian tanning cluster of Arzignano near Vicenza and was founded in 1975.
